The SSW program in Japan provides placements for Hotel Service Staff in leading hotels and restaurants. Job roles include customer service, front desk management, banquet service, and housekeeping. Eligibility:
- Fresh Graduates: Hospitality Management diploma or degree holders who have completed internships or on-the-job training.
- Experienced Candidates: Prior experience in hotel or restaurant management.
- Willingness to learn Japanese full-time over a 10-month period and pass language and SSW skill exams.
- Age Group: 20 to 27 years.
- Gender: Open to both males and females.

The role includes customer service tasks such as serving food and drinks, managing amenities, handling check-in/check-out, and assisting in hygiene management in hotels and restaurants.
The placement will be in Japanese hotels and restaurants.
The gross salary ranges from JPY 180,000 to 220,000, with overtime paid separately on an hourly basis.
Yes, hospitality staff receive annual salary increments and performance based bonuses.
Fresh graduates with a Hospitality Management diploma or degree and relevant internship experience are eligible. Candidates with work experience in hotels or restaurants are preferred.
Candidates must learn Japanese and pass the SSW exams after completing a 9-month Japanese language training.
Candidates should be 20-27 years old. The positions are open to both males (40%) and females (60%).
o Similar to the caregiver program, candidates undergo 9 months of full-time Japanese language training at a designated center. They are required to pass the N5/N4 Japanese Language Exams and the SSW Skill Exams for hospitality roles.
o Training fees:
▪ INR 85,000 + GST for the Japanese language training:
o Candidates also need to cover the cost of exam fees (INR 7,000), visa fees (INR 4,000), and medical fees (INR 5,000). Boarding and lodging will be the candidate’s responsibility, though some employers may cover flight tickets.
Candidates need to submit their Aadhar card, education certificates, hotel management degree, work experience certificates (if applicable), and passport.
Benefits include employment insurance, health insurance, pension, annual health check-ups, and industrial accident compensation. Employees can save INR 50,000-70,000 per month.
Employees can stay for 5 years with the option to extend for long-term employment opportunities.
