The BA in Psychology program at Ratan Tata Maharashtra State Skills University (RT-MSSU) is designed to develop skilled professionals with a deep understanding of human behavior and mental processes. Grounded in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the program offers multiple exit options: students can opt for a Diploma in BA Psychology after 2 years, a BA Psychology degree after 3 years, or a BA Psychology (Honors) degree after 4 years. The curriculum is structured around a 60:40 skill-to-academics ratio, with 60% dedicated to skill enhancement through practical training, applied psychology courses, and industry exposure, and 40% focused on building a strong foundation in psychological theory. The program includes a full year of On-the-Job Training (OJT) in the final year, providing students with valuable real-world experience.
The curriculum provides a comprehensive understanding of psychology, covering areas such as counseling psychology, health psychology, industrial organizational psychology, and cognitive psychology. The program incorporates industry-recognized certifications and prepares students for various roles, including Child Psychologist, Family Therapist, Wellness Coach, and Human Resource Manager.

Admission Details
Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or its equivalent Examination with English as a passing subject.
OR
Three years Diploma Course (after SSC i.e.,10th Standard) of Board of Technical Education.
OR
ITI (1 year’s trade) with one year of apprenticeship completed with industry and certified.
OR
ITI (2 years trade) with 12th equivalent certificate in both cases
One of the following:
- RT-MSSU
- CUET
Aspiring candidates must :
• Fill in the admission form of RT-MSSU
• Have appeared for entrance test conducted by RT-MSSU/CUET.
• Submit the relevant documents to RT-MSSU.
• Submit the Statement of Purpose to RT-MSSU.
• Appear for Interviews conducted by RT-MSSU.
Admissions shall be granted basis a merit list as per the weightage given below:
